On 11-13 June Russian International Olympic University, Organizing Committee «Sochi 2014» and IPC Academy held educational workshop «Creation of once in a lifetime experience for athletes and team officials from Paralympic Games» for staff of the Organizing Committee «Sochi 2014» and its marketing partners. In this workshop participated employees of IPC Academy and experts with great experience in organization of every step of Paralympic events: from list of participants and organization of arrival to creating to Paralympians comfortable conditions of accommodation, training and competition.

In particular, head of strategic projects of IPC Apostolos Rigas told about establishment of relations between community and Paralympians; NPC relations manager of the Organizing Committee «London 2012» Lambis Constantinidis shared his experience of communication between Organizing Committee and NPC on creation of the most favorable conditions to Paralympians. IPC manager on NPC relations Rodora Escanilas-Shweida told about specificity of planning relations with NPC.

Director of IPC Academy Chris Solly moderated the workshop and presented film about Australian success in 2010 in winter sports though Australia had never won in these disciplines. Moreover, six-time Paralympic champion Sergay Shilov told in details basing on his own experience about conditions required for Paralympians to enjoy the Games.

Representatives of Russian Paralympic Committee also took part in the workshop.
