The collaboration of the University and the Armenian National Olympic Committee continues developing. This year in the summer the sides concluded the Memorandum of Cooperation to work out educational courses, to organize internship and create special conditions for further expert dialogue on current questions in sport industry and management, as well as olympic movement. At the end of October the RIOU delegation went to road-show across the republic to present the goals and practical tasks of the University, promoting its educational programmes in Armenia.

RIOU CEO Professor Lev Belousov conducted a round-table meeting in Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture, where there were representatives of sports and cultural elite of the country. He spoke at length and in detail about the University concept, its strategy of development, practical results and new programmes. In particular he mentioned the first international course "Building brand and communications in sport". RIOU expert and MPPU "Synergy" first pro-rector Professor Vladimir Lednev in his speech before Armenian colleagues stressed the subject "Professional management as a factor of sport industry development".

The meeting of Lev Belousov and Armenian National Olympic Committee President Gagik Tsarukyan was quite fruitful as far as the questions discussed are concerned. As a consequence we suppose that this collaboration will continue in different directions. For a start three Armenian NOC employees will have the training course under John Tibbs's unique programme "Building brand and communications in sport", which starts in Sochi in the middle of November.
