The 4th Winter School educational programme, which was held in Kufstien University (Austria), was devoted to the subject of innovative sports. Nikolay Peshin, the head of RIOU research department, took part in the work of the programme. In his presentation before students and colleagues Peshin gave a detailed description of the university international mission. "Staging a number of large international competitions, first of all the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi 2014, revealed a keen demand of new generation sports managers. The Russian International Olympic University is a key instrument at the moment in training professionals, who will not only participate in organizing the most innovative Olympic and Paralympic Games, but will also provide the effective management of sport industry in the future", - Peshin said.
