This and other partnership possibilities were discussed by RIOU CEO, Professor Lev Belousov, and the Honorary Dean of the International Olympic Academy, Costas Georgiadis, during the XI Joint International Session for Presidents and Directors of National Olympic Academies and NOC officials. This forum is held annually in Greek Olympia. This year, Lev Belousov took part in the work of the forum and conducted a special presentation on the Russian International Olympic University. He talked about RIOU's goals and tasks, and future prospects, particularly concentrating on the basic MSA programme (Master of Sport Administration), which is to be launched in 2013.

The participation of RIOU in the NOA session was not accidental: delegates were discussing the subject of Olympic education, and relations between sport, culture and art.
