The Russian International Olympic University (RIOU) presented a flagman educational programm at FISU General Assembly

The Russian International Olympic University (RIOU) presented within the General Assembly of the International University Sports Federation in Kazan a new educational programme – one-year MSA (Master of Sport Administration) course. The MSA programme will be the central element of RIOU educational structure. Its goal is to train a new generation of managers for Russian and international sports industry. The course is based on learning and applying the experience gained in preparing and holding the Olympic Games. In his report RIOU CEO, professor Lev Belousov told the participants about the educational programme contents, its main innovative characteristics. Besides, he presented in the format of "augmented reality" the Sochi university campus under construction. The group of buildings is being constructed according to advanced technologies and fully complies with BREEAM ecological standards and barrier-free environment requirements for people with disabilities.

«Representatives of federations from more than 150 countries have come to Kazan to participate in the General Assembly of the International University Sports Federation, this audience is very important for us. FISU delegates are young, determined students, enthusiastic about sport and involved in its orbit. Many of them are thinking of continuing their education in the sphere of sports management. The Russian International Olympic University is ready to give them this opportunity», - said Lev Belousov.
