The Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo) and the Russian International Olympic University concluded the Agreement of cooperation. Head of the Agency Konstantin Kosachev and RIOU Rector Lev Belousov took part in the ceremony of signing the document.

Under the Agreement the development of international cooperation in the field of education is the key direction of joint activities. In this work special attention will be paid to promoting Russian educational services, broadening contacts between educational institutions of countries-partners, and increasing academic mobility of students and teachers.

The parties expressed confidence that this Agreement and their further cooperation will confirm the high authority of Russian higher education, science and culture on the international stage, as well as it will stimulate the interest in our traditions, language and history.

During the ceremony Head of Rossotrudnichestvo Konstantin Kosachev said that realizing this Agreement the University can use the resources of scientific and cultural centers in Russia and abroad to choose partners and promote its services.

RIOU Rector Lev Belousov in turn stated:
«Sport and education always unite people. Education in our university, MSA training programme "Master of Sport administration" for sports industry can be regarded as an effective instrument to form the proper image of our country abroad. Teachers from 10 countries are working in the university at the moment. We will have students from Russia, CIS countries, Europe, Asia and Africa. The University collaborates with leading educational institutions, scientific centers, sports organizations in the world. This way we are not only integrating into the international educational context but we also introduce all the best from Russian higher education».
