The visit of two leaders of the International Bobsleigh & Skeleton Federation – President Ivo Ferriani and Sports Director Normunds Kotans – took place on 13 February as part of the programme of stay in Sochi for the World Cup in these two disciplines. RIOU guests were introduced to the University’s infrastructure, met the RIOU Vice-Rector Irina Badayan and discussed the cooperation prospects between two organisations.

Mr. Ferriani and Mr. Kotans also met RIOU Master of Sport Administration students and had an informal conversation with them. Students asked the high-profile sports managers questions about their professional experience, day-to-day operations of the Federation, specifics of competition management in bobsleigh and skeleton.
