Professor Belousov gave an interesting talk on how the RIOU was established and how it aims to become a key component of the Sochi 2014 legacy through its mission of educating the next generation of sports industry managers in Russia and abroad. At the conclusion of his talk, Professor Belousov displayed a video about the university and accepted a commemorative Sochi 2014 souvenir from Bob Gruman, PwC Global Sports Mega-Events Centre of Excellence Leader, and Evgeny Otnelchenko, PwC's Sochi 2014 Programme Leader.
PwC held a series of five Olympic Park Lunches throughout the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games at the Baikal Bar, next to the Ice Cube Curling Centre. The goal of these events was to provide a forum for hospitality and networking among PwC employees, clients and contacts in an informal setting. During the events, attendees had a chance to learn about PwC Russian contributions to the succes of Sochi 20914 as a partner and the official professional services provider. Guests also had a chance to meet and hear from special guest speakers, including hockey legend Vladislav Tretiak, Sochi 2014 Organising Committee President Dmitry Chernyshenko, Russian Snowboard Team Head Coach Denis Tikhomirov, Russian Cross Country Ski Sprint Team Head Coach Yuri Kaminsky and Professor Lev Belousov.
