The Russian Olympic Committee President Alexander Zukov expressed confidence that the Russian International Olympic University graduates will be in great demand. "It is a very important project, the first in the world. I am glad that many students are coming here at the moment, and when the university academic building has been completed there will be a lot of people who will want to study here", - he said after visiting a special RIOU exposition within the 40 European Committees General Assembly in Sochi. The RIOU CEO Professor Lev Belousov demonstrated the miniature of the university campus which is being built at the moment in Sochi center. He answered the questions about its perspectives. "The Russian International Olympic University is supposed to train highly qualified staff for the Russian sports industry. We are also oriented towards the international olympic family. Our target audience is European Olympic Committees representatives who meet these days in Sochi. They should know about the university and its future prospects. We hope for all-round cooperation with them: in terms of teaching, i.e. involving as experts, we will be glad if NOCs employees study within our programmes", - the RIOU CEO Professor Lev Belousov said.

Apart from the academic building, the Russian International Olympic University complex will include several hotels for students and guests of the Olympic Games 2014. There will be also a large conference hall for 1100 seats. The university will meet all the modern requirements of education: the academic building, the library, class-rooms will be working 24 hours, and up-to-date interactive technologies will provide a high level of education.

The Russian International Olympic University project was presented to members of European Olympic Committees in Sochi, and the university activities raised a great interest among 40 EOC General Assembly participants.
