Internships at Formula One events always provide very special experience. This spring RIOU’s MSA students got another chance to become actively involved in the staging of F1 races in Sochi, with Darya Nikiforova, Tatyana Sinyukhina, Maxim Artemyev, Andrei Shilov, Yekaterina Guryeva working at the Media Centre of the Russian Grand Prix.

Darya Nikiforova  said: “We handled all the basic duties of media centre employees: media accreditation and registration, meeting guests in the reception area, assisting at press conferences and in the interview zone, escorting photographers to  shooting positions. I got a truly invaluable experience and unforgettable emotions! Working with media representatives is a great responsibility. As members of the Media Centre staff, we not only helped create the right conditions for media, but also tried to form a positive image of the event. I am very happy that we have received praise for our work. Many journalists have noted that the Russian Grand Prix is one of the best F1 races in terms of operational efficiency!”
