On September 20, the Russian International Olympic University will host the 1st International Research-to-Practice Conference ‘Sochi Olympic Legacy: Growth Areas Recognition’.

The conference will serve as good platform for discussions of young researchers who are united by their desire to generate new ideas and work on scientific projects in support of smooth development of the RIOU Olympic Legacy Centre. During the conference we are going to discuss several burning issues, such as challenges of maintaining an attractive image of cities hosting mega sporting events on the basis of social and economic transformations; issues of formation of new societies and their humanitarian potential, as well as development of job market accelerated by international sports projects and their legacy strategies.
