A graduate of the MSA 2018/2019 cohort Atif Shafiq (left in the photo) from Pakistan has been elected Secretary of the Punjab Swimming Association and executive member of the Pakistan Swimming Federation.
Atif Shafiq also teaches physical culture at the Government College University (GCU), Lahore. Studying at RIOU helped him to develop a proposal for the construction of a swimming pool for the GCU, which was approved by the national government. The project has received a funding of 100 million rupees; construction is currently under way.
