The Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, in cooperation with the National Centre for the Development of Physical Culture and Sport "ROSSTUDSPORT" at ITMO University, will stage the 12th ROSSTUDSPORT Congress on December 3 - 5, 2025. This is a flagship event of ROSSTUDSPORT, which annually brings together members of the professional community of university and phygital sports.

The Congress programme includes:

December 3 — The 3rd All-Russian Forum "A Look into the Future: Phygital Technologies in Higher Education”. The forum will discuss the role of universities in implementing the Phygital Sport Development Concept 2030, including the development of innovative sports, the application of technologies in fitness and sport, scientific support and personnel training, and creation of university sport startups.

December 4-5 — The CIS Member States Forum "Current Issues in the Development of University Sports" — an annual platform for discussing the system of physical education and student sport at university level. As in the previous years, experts and participants will deliberate on the challenges of providing physical education, issues and objectives in international university cooperation, with a focus on defining the social effects of sport in higher education. The forum is part of the 2025-2026 action plan for implementing the CIS Youth Cooperation Strategy 2030. The event is held with the support of the Russian Ministry of Sport and the Russian Students Sports Union.

The Congress programme seeks to provide active face-to-face communication and experience exchange among the participants. The event will feature panel discussions with top-notch experts, open platforms for discussing innovative ideas and showcasing best practices, real-world cases and successful solutions. Workshops and strategic sessions will allow participants to address current challenges, master new skills, and find fresh ideas.
