The admissions campaign at RIOU for the programs "Master of Sports Management" (Russian cohort), "Master of Sports Administration" (Russian cohort), and "Master of Sport Administration" (international cohort) has officially closed. Around 1,000 applications from candidates were processed, which is 49% more than in 2025. Following the competitive selection process, 89 students from 28 Russian regions—including athletes representing 35 different sports—will begin their studies at RIOU in the 2026/2027 academic year.

The admissions committee received applications from representatives of 34 countries. The largest number of students were delegated by the International University Sports Federation (FISU), partner sports universities from India and China.
