On September 17-18, Sochi will be hosting the 2013/2014 edition of the Global Management Challenge International Final – the world’s biggest strategic management competition. Russian competitors entered the contest in 2006, and have won two international rounds since. Russia first hosted the international final in 2010 in Khanty-Mansiysk, and this year it will again welcome teams from 23 countries. Over two days, the national champions will be competing for the right to be named worldwide winners. As a symbol of the Olympic legacy, RIOU acts as the official partner of the International Final. The University will host both the competition and a number of important gatherings, including meetings of national organisers, a conference on opportunities for business and education in Russia, a session of the competition’s International Supervisory Board and a press-conference.
The International Final will open on the evening of September 16. The total number of participants and special guests is over 150 people. National teams include 90 competitors aged between 20 and 40, and representing 23 countries of Asia, America and Europe.
