Russia has been found to be “100 per cent compliant” with the Council of Europe’s Anti-Doping Convention, says the website of the Russian Ministry of Sport, referring to the report on Russia’s compliance with the commitments of the Convention. The document is based on the findings of an evaluation visit by the Monitoring Group to Moscow in September 2021.
The report, which has been approved by all the States Parties to the Convention, notes that Russia has established a comprehensive government programme to combat doping in sport, which includes a broad anti-doping education programme. RUSADA, the Federal Medical and Biological Agency (FMBA) and the Russian International Olympic University are actively involved in delivering education to athletes and their coaches, doctors and pharmacists, parents and other persons concerned.
