Dr Nedvetskaya's teaching, research interests and professional experience are closely related to mega sport events and the issues of governance and legacies.
Her PhD thesis was on the Social Legacy of Mega Sport Events: Individual, Organisational and Societal Implications of the London 2012 Games Maker Programme. She previously worked for 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics and London 2012 Summer Olympics, which gave her invaluable practical insights into the world of mega sport events. 

Professional Experience:

Dr Nedvetskaya is an author and co-author of published scientific book chapters and papers on sport event management. She is currently an ad hoc reviewer for Event Management Journal (Cognizant Communication Corporation) and Cogent Social Sciences Journal (part of Taylor & Francis, Routledge).
