Professional Experience:
Dr Olga Polyakova is a Senior Lecturer and collaborative leader for Doctor of Business Administration (DBA). She leads Transformative Consumer Research cluster at Sheffield Business School.
Dr Polyakova holds a PhD in Sport Management (University of Huddersfield, UK), an LLM in International Sports Law in Practice (Sheffield Hallam University, UK), and an MSc in Business Project Management. Her research expertise spans consumer behaviour, sport tourism and events, wellbeing and ethical decision-making. Dr Polyakova has published in leading journals such as Event Management, Leisure Studies and Leisure Sciences and co-authored several book chapters in sport participation behaviour. She serves on editorial boards for Event Management Journal and Frontiers in Sustainable Tourism and has extensive experience in academic leadership and external examining.
