The Russian International Olympic University (RIOU) and the Vladimir Potanin Foundation announce a call for applications for the Olympic Scholarships competition  of the Vladimir Potanin Fellowship Program. RIOU students will have a chance to focus on advanced international cases studies, learning from leading Russian and foreign experts in sports management. Upon completion of one year program, they receive a diploma from RIOU (in Russian and in English) on professional retraining with qualification of ‘Master of Sport Administration.’

Lev Belousov, RIOU Rector: ‘Our cooperation with the Vladimir Potanin Foundation has been developing for almost seven years. Thanks to the competition and scholarships of the Foundation we successfully accomplish our mission – train top class managers for Russian and international sports industry. For the second year the influential British SportBusiness International magazine has ranked our flagship Master of Sport Administration course second among similar European postgraduate programs and the Top-10 in the world.’

Oksana Oracheva, General Director of the Vladimir Potanin Foundation: ‘Based on the feedback of our fellows, we see that winning the competition gave them multiple opportunities for self-realization; it allowed them to enter international community of sports management professionals. Their career paths develop in different ways: they join international organizations, run large-scale sport projects, open their own sports schools, some of them stay in Sochi to work at sports venues. What unites them all is their strive to move forward, changing the world for the better. It is inspiring. Wishing every success to new applicants and will be glad to meet them at the RIOU.’
