Graduated from the Lomonosov Moscow State University with an honours degree in physics and has an MBA from the University of Hartford, specialising in corporate finance. He also holds the Certified Management Accountant and Certified Public Accountant professional qualifications.

Before joining Interros and its affiliates, he spent two years as Regional Finance Director for Mars in Russia and three years as a financial analyst for Pratt & Whitney, United Technologies. He has been closely involved in the development of the JSC OPIN real estate projects.
