Objectives:
To form a knowledge system based on the Sochi 2014 Organising Committee's statute
- To introduce the principal terms used in project management and review the existing international standards
- To develop practical skills for drafting project plans and reports based on the methodology of the Sochi 2014 Organising Committee
- Practical skills in rationalising the need for launching projects, making decisions on projects and controlling project activities
- Practical skills in managing a project's key parameters, i.e. costs, deadlines, quality, evaluating risk and making informed decisions, and practical skills in evaluating the level of a project's readiness
- To develop practical skills in managing a project's objectives, results, quality, communications, evaluating risks and making decisions
Results:
- Uniform understanding of the Sochi 2014 Organising Committee's modern project management approaches, methods, and methodology
- Analysis of project documents and evaluation of their relevance to current projects
- Preparations for internal certification
